Automating Solar

  At AlionEnergy we worked out a way for robots to build and service solar power plants. Then we built the robots, and used them to build a 4MW plant in Lancaster CA.

  Lots of great work at Alion.  Weathered a pivot and resize from 75 people to 15. Built out a 40,000 sqft shop. Rebuilt every bit of the technology from the ground up. Built a high performing technical team.  Build build build. If I had a penny for every pound we built I would retire today and go invent robots that build and service solar power plants.
